Liz was invited by a professor to discuss a paper she (Liz)(wrote entitled "Abortion in other Cultures" to a social work class at Arizona State University in Tempe, Az.
Ms. Smith wrote and published two essays: one in American Counselor Magazine in 1993 entitled: "Children and Increased Stress: Interviews with children about the intimacies of family life.” ( see publications tab on this website)
Another piece was published in Prince William County weekly newspaper in Manassas, Virginia entitled "Nouveau Poor" about middle class persons seeking public aid during a recession in 1993. ( see publications tab on this website)
