Liz was invited by a professor to discuss a paper she (Liz)(wrote entitled “Abortion in other Cultures” to a social work class at Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ. She has also written and published two essays: one in American Counselor Magazine in 1993 entitled: “Children and Increased Stress: Interviews with children about the intimacies of family life.”

Another piece was published in Prince William County weekly newspaper in Manassas, Virginia entitled “Nouveau Poor” about middle class persons seeking public aid during a recession in 1993.
